Nothing says summer better than a fun pair of shades. I have been loving the mirrored/colored aviator look lately. They are loud and bold and perfect for a beach day. The statement in the glasses alone is enough to bring a summer outfit from boring to eye catching- haha get it? EYEcatching? ;)

I am attracted to the blue hues the most- the way they contrast against the color of your hair and skin is just so cool! The whole mixture of the classic aviator shape and the pop of color makes these a winner in my book. I can just picture the perfect summer outfit- just throw on a tee, your swim suit, and mirrored aviators! All the essentials for the local beach bum.

What I'm Loving: Stripes

One classic look that never goes out of style? Stripes. Whether nautical, zig zag, or horizontal, this pattern has been on the runway for years. They can mix up an otherwise boring outfit, or be a go-to when you have a "I have NOTHING to wear!!!" moment. And let's face it, it happens to ALL of us. 

The great thing about stripes, is that they are a universal piece. Keep it simple with white jeans, or jazz it up with a fun and bright statement necklace. Don't be afraid to mix colors and patterns, but keep in mind that a little goes a long way. So grab that old striped t that you have shoved in the back of your closet, and freshen up your style!
